Frequently Asked Questions

What is DealSnap?

DealSnap is an AI-powered deal analyzer for real estate wholesalers and investors. Enter a property address and we run public-data comps to produce an ARV estimate, repair estimate, Maximum Allowable Offer (MAO), deal score, and cash-flow projections. The output is a seller-ready PDF you can walk into a seller meeting with — plus a shareable deal link for your cash-buyer list.

DealSnap runs on public data — we don't have MLS access yet. Numbers are guidelines, not gospel. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.

How do I upgrade or change my plan?

Click the plan pill in the top-right of the app (it'll say Free · N/3, Solo, or Pro) or the Upgrade button on your Plan stat card. That opens Stripe Checkout.

Already on a paid plan? Click Manage billing on the Plan stat card to change your plan, update your card, or cancel. You'll be redirected to Stripe's billing portal.

Do you offer refunds?

We handle refunds case by case. If you signed up today and realized DealSnap isn't the right fit, open a ticket below and we'll take care of it. After the first week, we generally prorate — you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the current billing period, but we don't refund partial months unless there's a billing error or the app didn't work as advertised.

For anything billing-related, the fastest path is hello@deal-snap.com or the ticket form below.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Click the Manage billing button on your Plan stat card (or the plan pill in the header) to open Stripe's billing portal. From there, hit Cancel subscription. You'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period — no charges after that.

You can re-subscribe anytime without losing your historical deal data.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open the Account modal (top-right gear icon) and click Delete account. This permanently deletes your login, all of your saved deals, and any tickets linked to your user ID.

If you're on a paid plan, cancel your subscription first via Manage billing — otherwise you'll keep getting charged even though your account data is gone. We're working on auto-canceling on account delete; for now it's manual.

How accurate are DealSnap's numbers?

Comps and ARV estimates come from public records and AI analysis. They're good enough to get you in the ballpark on whether a property is worth pursuing, but they're not a replacement for a licensed appraiser, inspector, or agent with MLS access.

Before making an offer, you should verify numbers with your own comps, walk the property (or send someone), and have a contractor give a real repair quote. DealSnap is a first-pass filter — your job is to swing the bat.

What data do you store about me?

Just what you'd expect: your email, the deals you analyze, and your subscription status. We don't sell your data and we don't track you across other sites. See the Privacy Policy for specifics including how to request an export or deletion.

I found a bug / I have a feature request

Use the form below with the Bug or Feature category. Include the address you analyzed (if relevant) and anything specific you saw — screenshots help a lot if you can attach them to a follow-up email.

We're in beta and actively shipping — most bugs get patched within a few days, and feature requests from real users go straight to the top of the list.

When will I hear back?

We aim for 1–2 business days on everything. Billing issues get prioritized. If it's been longer than 3 business days and you haven't heard from us, email hello@deal-snap.com directly — something might have gotten lost.
